Frequently Asked Questions
Yes. Your clients feel more comfortable when your FMAudit interface matches your corporate branding. The web interface is customizable. We can show your web development team how to customize the interface. Or we can refer you to our marketing partner, ProspectBuilder.net to provide customization services.
Yes. We provide a suite of brochures, presentations and demonstration tools that you can use to help sell the system. We also have a partnership with ProspectBuilder.net. They can help you develop a program to market remote meter reading services and your managed print services program.
We work with both of these packages. While the FMAudit products generate detailed TCO reports, many of our clients use Compass or DocuAudit to process this data and create detailed proposals and reports. Data from our Viewer USB, WebAudit or Onsite tools can be imported into these systems.
While we request that you contact us for a detailed quote, we can sum up our simple pricing model here. First, you make a small upfront investment (especially when you compare it to other server solutions.) Then, you pay us a small monthly amount for each device under management that you are collecting meters for. Unlike most other systems, we don’t charge you for unmanaged devices. Why? It’s simple. We want your sales team to use this information to get these devices under management! ** ask for conditions (don't forget we do this a little differently in Europe).
Great question. While we believe there are many unique advantages that FMAudit offers, here are the top six reasons clients choose us:
- WebAudit collects meter readings through the internet with no software required at the client’s site
- Non-networked device data collection agent captures meters from standalone printers
- Supply triggered marketing automatically markets supplies for non-managed assets
- TCO reporting gives you a detailed snapshot of the client’s current costs
- Two way communication with your ERP system
- Local Agent captures information on local printers
Add to that our low barrier to entry, over 10 years of print management experience and a development team that understands our industry’s ERP systems and we believe you will agree that FMAudit is your best choice for print management automation.
ASP stands for Application Service Provider. In this model, the print management software is hosted by a third party company. You simply pay a fee for the use of the service. The limitations of this model are obvious: your confidential customer data is sitting on a server outside of your company. In many cases, the ASP model seems attractive next to the high cost of entry for other server-based models where you buy and host the software. Fortunately, with FMAudit, you get the benefits of keeping your data safe inside your company without the high up-front investment other providers charge. Contact us today to learn more.
